Abstract

Mortar geopolimer merupakan material yang terdiri dari campuran antara bahan pengikat berupa pasta geopolimer dengan bahan pengisi pada umumnya yaitu agregat halus. Pasta geopolimer tersebut adalah gabungan dari bahan pozzolan yaitu bahan yang memiliki kadar silika (SiO2) serta alumina (Al2O3) yang tinggi sebagai prekursor dan larutan alkali aktivator sebagai pelarut pada proses polimerisasi. Geopolimer merupakan pengembangan baru dalam dunia beton karena bahan yang digunakan dapat menjadi alternatif nyata untuk Semen Portland (PC) tradisional dalam produksi beton dan mortar. Penelitian ini merupakan salah satu dari berbagai jenis variasi yang akan diteliti terhadap mortar geopolimer dengan tinjauan yaitu pengaruh dari prekursor berupa abu ampas tebu dan fly ash sebagai pengganti semen dengan alkali aktivator berupa Na2SiO3 serta NaOH.
