Abstract

Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) merupakan diesel terbarukan yang memiliki rumus molekul (iC15H32-iC18H38). Bahan bakar ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan bakar kendaraan, mesin diesel, dan pembangkit listrik. Pabrik ini menggunakan proses Hydrotreating dengan bahan yaitu CPO (Crude Palm Oil) dan gas hidrogen, dengan kodisi operasi 360 C dengan tekanan 45,7 atm dibantu dengan katalis NiMo/αAl2O3 dan Isomerisasi dengan gas hidrogen kodisi operasi 380 C dengan tekanan 39,5 atm dibantu dengan katalis Pt/SAPO-11. Produk HVO yang dihasilkan melalui proses ini menghasikan kemurnian sebesar 99,1%. Rencananya, pabrik Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) akan dibangun di Kawasan Industri Medan 2, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara dengan luas tanah yang digunakan adalah sebesar 7.767 m2. Produksi HVO direncanakan sebesar 100.000 Ton/tahun dan dijadwalkan beroperasi pada tahun 2028. Pabrik akan menggunakan sistem operasional kontinu selama 330 hari per tahun, 24 jam per hari dengan total pegawai 231. Utilitas yang diperlukan meliputi air, uap, Dowtherm A, bahan bakar, listrik, dan refrigeran. Pabrik ini akan berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan struktur organisasi garis dan staf. Berdasarkan analisis ekonomi, didapatkan ROIBT sebesar 36,90%, ROIAT sebesar 25,83%, POTAT sekitar 2,8 tahun, BEP mencapai 43,36%, SDP sebesar 13,42%, dan IRR sekitar 25,95%. Dari hasil evaluasi ekonomi ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendirian pabrik Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) dari CPO (Crude Palm Oil) dan gas hidrogen dengan Proses Hydrotreating dan isomerisasi layak untuk dijalankan.
