Abstract
Electrical energy is one of the most important human needs for daily needs. How does a power plant work using a flywheel. What components are used in power plants using a flywheel. How much power is generated from the flywheel power plant. Know the working principle of flywheel power plant. Knowing how much power capacity. How to design an alternative power plant that utilizes the energy stored in the flywheel. Testing the machine after the assembly is complete whether the machine operates as desired or not, analysis and data collection, conclusions and suggestions. The process of drawing conclusions is the process of the end of a study that contains conclusions from the results of a power generator engine without fuel by utilizing the flywheel rotation. At no-load measurement and given a load of two 7 watt bulbs. The motor speed is approximately at 2700 rpm. flywheel rotation is approximately at 2600 rpm. It can be seen that the battery current released is ± 63 Ampere, alternator ± 2.3 A, Inverter ± 3.4 Ampere, Generator ± 0.092 A. 1 phase induction motor HP 750 watts, hybrid battery 12 volt 70 Ah, alternator 14 volt 40 ampere, generator with a capacity of 1000 watts, two on/off switches. This research resulted in a motor rotation of ± 2800 rpm, flywheel ± 2700 rpm, alternator ± 4800 rpm, generator ± 3200 rpm. The output power issued by the Generator is 1000 watts with a voltage of 220 Vac. Keywords : power plant, flywheel, overunity
