Abstract

ABSTRAK Zulfani Haki, Program Studi Magister Teknik Industri, Program Pascasarjana, Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang, Desember 2023, Analisis Faktor Safety Climate untuk Meningkatkan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Pada Pekerjaan Konstruksi di Wilayah Kerja PT XYZ Bunyu Field, Tesis, Pembimbing: (I) Ir. Fuad Achmadi, MSc, Ph.D, (II) Dr. Prima Vitasari, S.IP, M.Pd. Industri minyak dan gas menjadi sebuah tantangan, mengingat potensi bahaya yang banyak serta resiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja yang cukup tinggi. Industri minyak dan gas menjadi salah satu tempat kerja dengan sumber bahaya yang banyak, seperti tekanan gas, ledakan, kebakaran, listrik, peralatan bergerak, serta pengangkatan. Observasi dilapangan seringkali pekerjaan diberhentikan karena adanya temuan terkait kondisi dan tindakan tidak aman di tempat kerja. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk melindungi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja para pekerja yaitu dengan menciptakan safety climate di tempat kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis apa saja faktor safety climate yang paling berperan terhadap keselamatan dan kersehatan kerja pada pekerjaan konstruksi dan memberikan solusi perbaikan berdasarkan faktor safety climate yang paling berperan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja pada pekerjaan konstruksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kerja PT. XYZ Bunyu Field, Kabupaten Bulungan, Provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu seluruh karyawan lapangan pekerjaan konstruksi dibawah pengawasan departemen operation & surface facilities construction sebanyak 200 pekerja, sementara sampelnya sebanyak 180 pekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis faktor Exploratory Factor Analysis. Analisis faktor EFA digunakan untuk mendefinisikan struktur suatu data dan menganalisis struktur yang saling berhubungan antara sejumlah variabel dengan menjadikan suatu faktor. Analisis EFA digunakan untuk meringkas variabel asal dengan jumlah yang banyak menjadi variabel baru dengan jumlah sedikit. Hasil analisis faktor safety climate menunjukkan presentasi total varian sebanyak 86,538%. Terdapat 4 faktor yang dihasilkan yaitu pelatihan dan kepatuhan terhadap K3 sebesar 60,58%, kepemimpinan, pengetahuan, dan sikap pekerja sebesar 15,392%, komitmen manajemen dan inisiatif pekerja sebesar 6,313%, dan promosi K3 sebesar 4,248%. Penerapan usulan perbaikan menggunakan satu faktor yaitu promosi keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja, Dimana, hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan lapangan telah terlaksana dengan baik. Fuad Achmadi, MSc, Ph.D, (II) Dr. Prima Vitasari, S.IP, M.Pd. Oil and gas industry is a challenge, considering the many potential dangers and the high risk of work accidents. The oil and gas industry is a workplace with many sources of danger, such as gas pressure, explosions, fire, electricity, moving equipment and lifting. Field observations often result in work being terminated due to findings regarding unsafe conditions and actions in the workplace. Efforts that can be made to protect the occupational health and safety of workers are by creating a safety climate in the workplace. The aim of this research is to analyze what safety climate factors play the most role in improving occupational health and safety in construction work and provide improvement solutions based on the safety climate factors that play the most role in improving occupational safety and health in construction work. This research uses quantitative research methods. The research was conducted in the working area of PT. XYZ Bunyu Field, Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan Province. The population used was all construction work field employees under the supervision of the operations & surface facilities construction department, totaling 200 workers, while the sample was 180 workers. This research uses the Exploratory Factor Analysis method. EFA factor analysis is used to define the structure of data and analyze the interconnected structure between a number of variables by creating a factor. EFA analysis is used to summarize a large number of original variables into new variables with a small number. The results of the safety climate factor analysis show a total variance presentation of 86.538%. There were 4 factors produced, namely training and compliance with K3 at 60.58%, leadership, knowledge and attitude of workers at 15.392%, management commitment and worker initiative at 6.313%, and promotion of K3 at 4.248%. The implementation of the proposed improvements uses one factor, namely the promotion of occupational safety and health, where the results of observations made indicate that field implementation has been carried out well.
