Abstract

1,3 Butadiene merupakan zat yang tidak korosif, tidak berwarna, mempunyai bau sedikit aromatic. Sulit larut dalam air, sedikit larut dalam methanol dan etanol, dan mudah larut dalam pelarut organic seperti diethyl eter, benzene, dan karbon tetraklorida. 1,3 Butadiene adalah diena konjugasi sederhana dengan rumus C4H6. Butadiena merupakan bahan kimia industry penting yang digunakan sebagai monomer dalam produksi karet sintetis. Pabrik Butadiene ini direncanakan didirikan di Kawasan Industri Cilegon, Kota Banten, Jawa Barat dengan kapasitas 100.000 Ton/Tahun dan mulai beroperasi pada tahun 2028. Model operasi yang diterapkan adalah sistem kontinyu dengan waktu operasi 330 hari/tahun dan 24 jam/hari. Utilitas yang digunakan meliputi air, steam, bahan bakar, dan listrik. Bentuk perusahaan ini adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan struktur organisasi garis dan staff. Dari hasil perhitungan Analisa ekonomi didapatkan ROIBT = 38%, ROIAT = 26,9%, POTAT = 2,7 tahun, BEP = 47,86%, SDP = 14,37%, IRR = 21,44%. Dari hasil evaluasi ekonomi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Pabrik Butadiene dari n-Butane dengan Proses Dehidrogenasi Houdry layak untuk didirikan.
