Abstract

PRA RENCANA PABRIK METIL SALISILAT (C8H8O3) DARI ASAM SALISILAT DAN METANOL DENGAN PROSES ESTERIFIKASI KAPASITAS 50.000 TON/TAHUN berlokasi di kawasan industri pupuk Kaltim, Kota Bontang, Kalimantan Timur dengan kriteria sebagai berikut : - Kapasitas 50.000 Ton/Tahun - Waktu operasi 330 hari/tahun - Bahan Utama : Asam Salisilat dan Metanol - Utilitas : Air, Steam, Bahan Bakar, dan Listrik. - Organisasi Perusahaan : • Bentuk : Perseroan Terbatas (PT) • Struktur : Sistem organisasi fungsional garis • Karyawan : 354 orang - Analisa ekonomi • TCI : 40.928.373,93 • ROI AT : 28,20% • POT AT : 2,62 tahun • BEP : 41,25% • SDP : 4,89 % • IRR : 24,26%. Dari hasil evaluasi ekonomi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Pabrik Metil Salisilat dari asam salisilat dan metanol dengan proses esterifikasi layak untuk didirikan.
