Abstract

Etil klorida adalah senyawa gas tidak bewarna dengan rumus molekul C2H5Cl. Etil klorida banyak diaplikasikan di industri kimia dan farmasi. Pabrik etil klorida direncanakan didirikan di Kawasan Krakatau Estate Cilegon, Banten dengan kapasitas 70.000 ton/tahun dan direncanakan tahun 2027 pabrik mulai beroperasi. Pabrik menerapkan sistem kontinyu dengan waktu operasi 330 hari/tahun dan 24 jam/hari. Unit utilitas meliputi air, bahan bakar dan listrik. Model perusahaan merupakan Perseroan Terbatas dengan struktur organisasi garis dan staff. Dari hasil perhitugan analisan ekonomi didapatkan ROIBT = 42%, ROIAT = 30%, POTBT = 1,9 tahun, POTAT = 2,5 tahun, BEP = 43,01%, SDP = 14,20%, IRR = 29,29%. Dari hasil evaluasi ekonomi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Pabrik Etil Klorida dari Etil Alkohol dan Asam Klorida dengan Proses Hidroklorinasi layak didirikan
