Abstract

Formaldehid banyak digunakan pada industri kimia, yaitu sebagai penghambat korosi, elektroplating, bahan pengawet, desinfektan untuk membunuh kuman dan bakteri yang masih melekat pada alat-alat proses pabrik. Beradasarkan beberapa pertimbangan dipilih lokasi pabrik Formaldehid didirikan di Kecamatan Bontang, Kalimantan Timur, diperkirakan cukup menguntungkan dari segi analisis ekonomi bahan baku pemasaran, kemudahan transportasi dan ketersediaan bahan baku. Secara garis besar hasil perhitungan analisa ekonomi Pra Rencana Pabrik Formaldehid sebagai berikut: Total Penjualan Rp 1.006.6577.010.651. Laba Kotor Rp 347.901.471.726 Laba Bersih Rp 243.531.030.208 Rate Of Return (ROI) sebelum pajak 38 % ROI setelah pajak 26,9 % Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 21,44 %. Karena IRR lebih besar dari bunga bank (12%) maka pabrik Formaldehid layak untuk didirikan. Pay Out Time (POT) 2,7 tahun. Break Even Point 47,86%
