Abstract
Abstract: This study examines the preparedness of the construction sector's human resources (HR) to utilise digital tools such as IoT, BIM, and AI in support of green building projects that consume less energy and are more efficient. To comprehend the behaviour, purpose, and use, this study employs UTAUT2 and Task–Technology Fit. PLS-SEM was used to analyse reflective structures. Validity, reliability, collinearity, predictive significance (as determined by blindfolding Q2), and overall fit were all assessed for the model. 34.4% of the variation in UB, 44.2% of the variation in PE, and 93.0% of the variation in BI are explained by the model. BI and UB have a strong correlation (β = 0.586, p < 0.001). Negative facilitating conditions (² = -1.584, p < 0.001), positive social impact (² = 1.037, p < 0.001), negative pricing value (² = 1.300, p < 0.001), negative performance expectancy (² = 0.181, p = 0.0049), and negative habit (² = 0.283, p = 0.047) are all revealed by the intention model. TTF effectively explains PE (β = 0.665, p < 0.001), a noteworthy finding that, although it does not directly explain BI, is still significant. PE claims that the most crucial aspects of "fit" are made clear by connecting TTF and UTAUT2 and distinguishing between direct and indirect impacts. To bolster the argument, validity and multicollinearity tests are also emphasised. keyword: Digital Construction Adoption
