Abstract
ABSTRAK Kelapa sawit merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman perkebunan yang menduduki posisi penting dalam sektor pertanian dan sektor perkebunan, serta merupakan komoditi andalan Indonesia yang perkembangannya sangat pesat. Material Handling yang baik adalah meminimalkan biaya-biaya penanganan material, meminimalkan gangguan atau risiko dan penundaan proses produksi. Salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri kelapa sawit adalah PT. BSI yang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada industri pengolahan buah kelapa sawit. Adapun produk yang dihasilkan yaitu crude palm oil (CPO), kernel, dan fiber yang menerapkan sistem material handling. Namun proses material handling yang diterapkan masih mengalami gangguan yang risikonya berdampak pada proses produksi. Sehingga peneliti ingin mengetahui nilai risiko material handling yang terjadi di PT.BSI dengan metode FMECA dan FTA. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pada tahap identifikasi risiko dengan menggunakan metode FMECA diperoleh enam daftar risiko yang memiliki nilai RPN diatas 200 ini merupakan termasuk kategori very high dan Unacceptable. Kemudian setelah dilakukan analisis lebih lanjut menggunakan metode FMECA juga bahwa enam risiko tersebut mengalami penurunan yang dimana nilai RPN kurang dari 180 sehingga termasuk kategori high dan tolerable. Kemudian untuk analisis FTA bahwa permasalahan dari risiko tersebut yaitu conveyor trip dan penyumbatan conveyor ini perlu dilakukan pengecekan daun conveyor yang telah dijadwalkan secara rutin serta impelementasikan jadwal rutin maintenance dan memberikan pelatihan kepada operator sebelum melakukan pekerjaan. Kata Kunci: CPO, PKO, Material Handling, FMECA AND FTA ABSTRACT Oil palm is a type of plantation crop that occupies an important position in the agricultural and plantation sectors, and is Indonesia's mainstay commodity which is developing very rapidly. Good material handling is minimizing material handling costs, minimizing disruptions or risks and delays in the production process. One of the companies operating in the palm oil industry is PT. BSI is a company operating in the palm oil fruit processing industry. The products produced are crude palm oil (CPO), kernels and fiber which implement a material handling system. However, the material handling process implemented is still experiencing disruptions which risk having an impact on the production process. So researchers want to know the value of material handling risks that occur at PT.BSI using the FMECA and FTA methods. The results of this research are that at the risk identification stage using the FMECA method, six risk lists were obtained which had an RPN value above 200, these were in the very high and Unacceptable categories. Then, after carrying out further analysis using the FMECA method, the six risks experienced a decrease, where the RPN value was less than 180, so it was included in the high and tolerable categories. Then, for the FTA analysis, the problem of this risk is conveyor trips and conveyor blockages. It is necessary to check the conveyor leaves which have been scheduled regularly and implement a routine maintenance schedule and provide training to operators before carrying out work.
