Abstract
ANALISA POTENSI PENAMBAHAN JALAN LAYANG DI RUAS JALAN SINGOSARI GUNA MENGURANGI KEMACETAN LALU LINTAS DAN MENINGKATKAN KINERJA JALAN Mochamad Alif Khula Muttaqin1, Dr. Ir. Agustina Nurul Hidayati, MT.2, Ardiyanto Maksimilianus Gai., ST., MSi3 ABSTRAK Kabupaten Malang di Jawa Timur, dengan luas 3.534,86 km² dan populasi 2.703.175 jiwa, berfungsi sebagai pintu masuk utama ke Kota Malang, pusat pendidikan dan pariwisata. Pertumbuhan ekonomi dan mobilitas penduduk sangat bergantung pada infrastruktur jalan, terutama di Jalan Raya Singosari yang sering macet akibat tingginya volume kendaraan dan aktivitas pasar. Penelitian ini meneliti potensi penambahan flyover untuk mengurangi kemacetan dan meningkatkan kinerja jalan. Metodologinya mencakup pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder melalui observasi, survei, dan analisis literatur. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, melibatkan perhitungan kecepatan arus bebas, kapasitas jalan, dan derajat kejenuhan. Hasil menunjukkan penambahan flyover efektif dalam mengurangi kemacetan dan meningkatkan kinerja jalan; kapasitas jalan meningkat dari 3.523,52 SMP/jam menjadi 5.874,08 SMP/jam, derajat kejenuhan turun dari 0,86-0,87 menjadi 0,52, dan tingkat pelayanan naik dari level D ke level A. Kecepatan arus bebas juga meningkat untuk semua jenis kendaraan. Jadi, penambahan flyover di Jalan Singosari memiliki potensi besar untuk mengurangi kemacetan dan meningkatkan kinerja jalan secara signifikan. Agustina Nurul Hidayati, MT.2, Ardiyanto Maksimilianus Gai., ST., MSi3 ABSTRACT Malang Regency in East Java, with an area of 3,534.86 km² and a population of 2,703,175 people, serves as the main gateway to Malang City, a center for education and tourism. Economic growth and population mobility heavily rely on road infrastructure, especially along Singosari Highway, which often gets congested due to high vehicle volume and market activities. This study examines the potential addition of a flyover to reduce congestion and improve road performance. The methodology includes collecting primary and secondary data through observation, surveys, and literature analysis. Data analysis uses a quantitative descriptive approach, involving calculations of free flow speed, road capacity and degree of saturation. The results show that the addition of flyovers is effective in reducing congestion and improving road performance; Road capacity increased from 3,523.52 SMP/hour to 5,874.08 SMP/hour, the degree of saturation decreased from 0.86-0.87 to 0.52, and the level of service increased from level D to level A. Free flow speed also increased for all types of vehicles.
