Abstract

ABSTRAK Kinerja produksi pada industri pertambangan sangat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kesiapan alat berat, khususnya physical availability (PA) dump truck sebagai alat angkut utama. Pada PT ABC, unit Dump Truck Komatsu HD785-7 menunjukkan nilai Physical Availability (PA), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), dan Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) yang belum mencapai target perusahaan, sehingga berdampak pada produktivitas dan efisiensi operasional. Kondisi ini menunjukkan masih tingginya frekuensi kerusakan, lamanya waktu perbaikan, serta strategi pemeliharaan yang belum sepenuhnya berbasis risiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi peningkatan physical availability dan efektivitas operasional Dump Truck HD785-7 melalui integrasi metode Risk-Based Availability (RBA) dan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan RBA dan OEE. Penelitian diawali dengan pengumpulan data historis operasional dan pemeliharaan unit HD785-7 periode Januari–Agustus 2025 yang meliputi data downtime, MTBF, MTTR, PA, OEE, Six Big Losses, histori kerusakan komponen, serta data suku cadang. Metode RBA dilakukan melalui identifikasi risiko, penilaian likelihood dan impact, perhitungan risk index, serta pemetaan risiko untuk menentukan komponen kritis prioritas mitigasi. Selanjutnya, metode OEE digunakan untuk menghitung komponen availability, performance, dan quality, serta mengidentifikasi kerugian dominan berdasarkan Six Big Losses. Hasil kedua metode diintegrasikan untuk merumuskan strategi perbaikan dan dievaluasi melalui perbandingan kondisi sebelum dan sesudah implementasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kinerja yang signifikan, di mana nilai PA meningkat dari 87,73% menjadi 93,20%, MTBF meningkat dari 61,05 jam menjadi 75,27 jam, dan MTTR menurun dari 26,56 jam menjadi 6,50 jam. Nilai OEE juga meningkat dari 75,58% menjadi 86,00% dan melampaui target perusahaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi RBA dan OEE efektif dalam menurunkan downtime dan meningkatkan keandalan alat. Rekomendasi penelitian adalah penerapan pemeliharaan berbasis risiko secara berkelanjutan dan perluasan implementasi strategi pada unit alat berat lainnya. Kata kunci: MTBF, MTTR, PA, RBA, OEE. ABSTRACT Production performance in the mining industry is highly dependent on the availability of heavy equipment, particularly the physical availability (PA) of dump trucks as primary hauling units. At PT ABC, Komatsu HD785-7 dump trucks exhibited PA, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) values below company targets, leading to reduced productivity and operational efficiency. These conditions indicate high failure frequency, prolonged repair duration, and maintenance strategies that are not fully risk-oriented. This study aims to develop an improvement strategy for physical availability and operational effectiveness of Komatsu HD785-7 dump trucks through the integration of Risk-Based Availability (RBA) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). This research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach using RBA and OEE methods. The study begins with the collection of historical operational and maintenance data for HD785-7 units from January to August 2025, including downtime records, MTBF, MTTR, PA, OEE, Six Big Losses, component failure history, and spare-parts data. The RBA method is applied through risk identification, likelihood and impact assessment, risk index calculation, and risk mapping to prioritize critical components for mitigation. Subsequently, OEE is used to calculate availability, performance, and quality, as well as to identify dominant losses based on the Six Big Losses framework. The results of both methods are integrated to formulate technical mitigation strategies and evaluated using a before–after performance comparison. The results demonstrate significant performance improvements, with PA increasing from 87.73% to 93.20%, MTBF from 61.05 hours to 75.27 hours, and MTTR decreasing from 26.56 hours to 6.50 hours. OEE also improved from 75.58% to 86.00%, exceeding the company target. The study concludes that integrating RBA and OEE effectively reduces downtime and enhances equipment reliability. Continuous risk-based maintenance and broader implementation across other heavy-equipment units are recommended. Keywords: MTBF, MTTR, PA, RBA, OEE.
