Abstract

Efektivitas fabrikasi struktur baja pada PT Jagat Baja Prima Utama menjadi isu penting karena proses produksi melibatkan tenaga kerja, material, peralatan, manajemen produksi, dokumen teknis, dan lingkungan kerja yang saling terhubung. Hambatan pada salah satu faktor dapat menimbulkan keterlambatan, pekerjaan ulang, penurunan produktivitas, dan gangguan pengiriman komponen ke proyek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat efektivitas fabrikasi struktur baja, pengaruh enam faktor operasional, serta faktor dominan yang menentukan efektivitas fabrikasi. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data primer diperoleh melalui kuesioner terhadap 28 karyawan PT Jagat Baja Prima Utama yang terlibat dalam proses fabrikasi struktur baja. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan pendekatan sensus terbatas. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) melalui evaluasi model pengukuran, validitas konvergen, reliabilitas konstruk, validitas diskriminan, evaluasi model struktural, R-Square, QSquare, effect size f², dan bootstrapping. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas fabrikasi struktur baja berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai mean 3,978. Seluruh variabel berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas fabrikasi, yaitu kompetensi tenaga kerja, ketersediaan material, peralatan fabrikasi, manajemen produksi, dokumen teknis, dan lingkungan kerja. Manajemen produksi menjadi faktor dominan dengan path coefficient 0,294, t-statistics 3,115, p-values 0,002, dan effect size 0,210. Model penelitian memiliki R-Square 0,742 dan Q-Square 0,428. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas fabrikasi terutama ditentukan oleh kemampuan perusahaan mengintegrasikan sumber daya produksi. Saran penelitian diarahkan pada penguatan manajemen produksi, peningkatan kompetensi tenaga kerja, kesiapan material, pengendalian dokumen teknis, pemeliharaan peralatan, dan pemeliharaan lingkungan kerja. Steel structure fabrication effectiveness at PT Jagat Baja Prima Utama represents an important operational issue because production processes involve interrelated workforce competence, material availability, fabrication equipment, production management, technical documents, and working environment. Disruption in one factor may cause delays, rework, productivity decline, and component delivery problems. The objective of this study is to analyze the level of fabrication effectiveness, the influence of six operational factors, and the dominant factor determining fabrication effectiveness. A quantitative approach with a survey method was applied in this study. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 28 employees of PT Jagat Baja Prima Utama who were involved in steel structure fabrication activities. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a limited census approach. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through measurement model evaluation, convergent validity, construct reliability, discriminant validity, structural model evaluation, R-Square, Q-Square, f² effect size, and bootstrapping. The research findings show that steel structure fabrication effectiveness is in the high category with a mean value of 3.978. All variables have positive and significant effects on fabrication effectiveness, namely workforce competence, material availability, fabrication equipment, production management, technical documents, and working environment. Production management is the dominant factor with a path coefficient of 0.294, t-statistics of 3.115, p-values of 0.002, and effect size of 0.210. The research model has an R-Square of 0.742 and a Q-Square of 0.428. The conclusion indicates that fabrication effectiveness is mainly determined by the company's ability to integrate production resources. Recommendations are directed toward strengthening production management, workforce competence, material readiness, technical document control, equipment maintenance, and working environment maintenance.
