Abstract

The bridge is a construction that allows a road crossing river / culvert, valley or cross another road that have a different elevation. In the planning and design of the bridge, it should consider the function of transportation requirements, technical requirements and architectural aesthetic that includes: traffic aspects, technical aspects, aesthetics aspect. The purpose of this title is to plan the structure of the steel frame bridge that spans 40 m and a width of 11 m, and then also know the value of a plan of the bridge-type structure Pennsylvania Petit Truss and can determine the dimensions of the materials used. The design use L.R.F.D method and for the structure analysis modelling, the writer use STAADPRO V8i 2007. From the analysis calculation results above, it obtained the dimensional structure and bridge design drawings Pucang Laban Tulungagung from planned use of steel profiles, WF 350 x 175 x 7 x 11 for the elongated girder, WF 918 x 303 x 19 x 37 for transverse girder, WF 350 x 350 x 12 x 9 for upper transverse girder, WF 498 x 432 x 45 x 70 for the main girder, LD 250.250.25 for wind ties
