Abstract

ANALISIS DAN MONITORING QUALITY of SERVICE (QoS) JARINGAN TELEKOMUNIKASI 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) DI DAERAH URBAN KOTA MALANG Fugi Jireh Latumahina 13.12.703 1 ABSTRAK Lahirnya jaringan 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) dengan segala kelebihannya dapat menjanjikan komunikasi data bergerak super cepat. Tingkat download sampai dengan 299.6 Mbis/s dan tingkat upload hingga 75.5Mbis/s tergantung pada kategori perangkat yang digunakan. 4G merupakan pengembangan dari teknologi 3G. Teknologi 4G merupakan pengembangan dari teknologii sebelumnya yaitu 3.5G atau yang biasa di sebut HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access). Penelitian ini dikhususkan untuk menganalisis Quality of Service jaringan telekomunikasi 4G LTE di daerah URBAN kota Malang. Analisis Quality of Service jaringan telekomunikasi 4G LTE pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran kualitas jaringan telekomunikasi dari sisi bandwidth, throughput, packet loss dan delay. Metode penelitian yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini yaitu melakukan pengamatan tentang bagaimana QoS jaringan telekomunikasi 4G LTE tepatnya di kecamatan Dinoyo Kelurahan Lowokwaru kota Malang. Proses pengamatan dalam menganalisis Quality of Service jaringan telekomunikasi 4G LTE di kecamatan Dinoyo kota malang berdasarkan 4 parameter diantaranya bandwidth, throughput, packet loss dan delay. Aplikasi yang digunakan yaitu monitoring application Elnus Bandwidth Meter, beta speedtest dan Wireshark. Dalam pengamatan selama 7 hari di daerah Urban kota Malang khususnya di kecamatan Dinoyo, maka jaringan 4G LTE Telkomsel memiliki Bandwidth yang bagus, Throughput dengan kategori baik, Delay dengan kategori yang sangat bagus dan Packetloss dengan kategori yang sangat bagus. The download rate up to 299.6 Mbis / s and upload rate up to 75.5Mbis / s depends on the category of device used. 4G is a development of 3G technology. 4G technology is the development of the previous technology that is 3.5G or commonly called HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access). This research is devoted to analyze the Quality of Service 4G LTE telecommunication network in URBAN area of Malang city. Analysis of Quality of Service 4G LTE telecommunication network in this study aims to provide an overview of the quality of telecommunications networks in terms of bandwidth, throughput, packet loss and delay. The research method discussed in this research is to observe about how the QoS 4G LTE telecommunication network precisely in the district Dinoyo Lowokwaru urban Malang. The observation process in analyzing the Quality of Service 4G LTE telecommunication network in Kecamatan Dinoyo malang city based on 4 parameters such as bandwidth, throughput, packet loss and delay. Applications used are monitoring application Elnus Bandwidth Meter, beta speedtest and Wireshark. In the observation for 7 days in urban area of Malang city especially in Dinoyo sub district, Telkomsel 4G LTE network has good Bandwidth, Throughput with good category, Delay with very good category and Packetloss with very good category Keywords : 4G LTE Technology (Long Therm Evolution), Quality of Service, Elnus Bandwidth Meter, Beta Speedtest, Wireshark.
