Abstract
Rancang Bangun Alat Pemilah Sampah Otomatis Berbasis Arduino Uno dan SMS Gateway Fitrya Putri Rahayu M. Ibrahim Ashari Sotyohadi fitryaputri8@gmail.com ABSTRAK Saat ini dalam kehidupan masyarakat masih lemah akan kesadaran dalam membuang sampah sesuai dengan bahan sampah pada masing masing tempat sampah. Dan saat tempat sampah telah penuh tidak ada pemberitahuan ke petugas sampah kapan sampah tersebut akan di buang ke TPA (Tempat Pempuangan Akhir) Dari keadaan diatas, muncul suatu ide untuk merancang alat pemilah sampah otomatis berbasis arduino uno dan sms gateway. Yang dapat membantu dalam pemilahan sampah dan membantu petugas sampah dalam mengetahui sampah tersebut telah penuh agar lingkungan akan tetap terkesan bersih. Tempat sampah dapat mendeteksi bahan sampah dan mengeksekusi pembuangan sampah sesuai dengan jenis sampahnya. Lalu penghitungan jarak tumpukan sampah dideteksi oleh sensor HC-SR04, jika tumpukan sampah telah setinggi 20cm maka secara otomatis akan mengirim SMS ke petugas sampah. Ibrahim Ashari Sotyohadi fitryaputri8@gmail.com ABSTRACT At present, in community life there is still a lack of awareness in disposing of garbage in accordance with the waste material in each trash can. And when the trash can is full, there is no notification to the Garbage Officer when the garbage will be disposed of to the TPA (Final Disposal Site) Based on the situation that mentioned above, an idea emerged to design an automatic waste sorting device based on Arduino Uno and SMS Gateway, which could help in sorting waste and helping garbage workers in knowing the garbage was full so that the environment would remain clean. Trash can is able to detect waste material and execute garbage disposal according to the type of waste. Then the distance calculation of the pile of garbage is detected by the HC-SR04 sensor, if the pile of garbage has been as high as 20cm it will automatically text a short message service to the garbage officer.
