Abstract

Implementasi Filter Pasif untuk Mereduksi Harmonisa dan Memperbaiki Kualitas Daya pada PT. Eratex Djaja, Tbk Kota Probolinggo Muhammad Zakaryah I Made Wartana Ni Putu Agustini zzakaryah@gmail.com ABSTRAK Salah satu permasalahan yang muncul di jaringan listrik adalah harmonisa. Timbulnya harmonisa disebabkan oleh beban non-linier dimana salah satu contohnya adalah komponen kontrol Variable speed drive (VSD). Penggunaan beban motor listrik yang dikontrol oleh VSD pada perusahaan akan menimbulkan harmonisa yang tinggi yang dapat menyebabkan motor menjadi panas. Dan apabila dibiarkan secara terus menerus akan menyebabkan motor terbakar. Salah satu cara meredam harmonisa tersebut dengan menggunakan filter harmonisa yaitu filter pasif. Filter pasif ini terdiri dari rangkaian seri kapasitor (C), inductor (L) dan resistor (R) yang berfungsi menginjeksi arus harmonisa dan mengurangi tegangan harmonisa. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan implementasi filter pasif untuk mereduksi harmonisa yang timbul akibat penggunaan beban motor yang dikontrol oleh Variable Speed Drive dan meningkatkan kualitas daya pada PT Eratex Djaja, Tbk Kota Probolinggo dengan simulasi menggunakan software PSCAD Power Simulation. Dari hasil analisis terdapat harmonisa yang terbesar pada PANEL TOLKAR 5000 yaitu THDV sebesar 2.61514% dan THDI sebesar 30.8256%. Sedangkan setelah pemasangan filter pasif harmonisa dapat tereduksi yaitu THDV turun menjadi 0.823228%. dan THDI turun menjadi sebesar 0.69926%. Dimana sudah sesuai dengan standart IEEE 519-1992 THDV ≤5% dan THDI ≤20%. The emergence of harmonic is caused by non-liniear loads and one of the example is Variable Speed Drive (VSD) component control. The use of the electric motors are controlled by VSD at the companydue will increasing high harmonic as it can cause motor to heat. And if it was continously let to the motor overheating. On of the way to reduce the harmonics is by using a harmonic filter and it is a passive filter. This passive filter consists of a series of capacitor (C), inductor (L) and resistor (R) that function to inject harmonic currents and reduce harmonics voltage. In this research, a passive filter is implemented to reduce harmonics arising from the use of motor loads controlled by Variable Speed Drive and improve power quality at PT. Eratex Djaja, Tbk Kota Probolinggo with simulations by using PSCAD Power Simulation software. From the results of the analysis there is the largest harmonics on the TOLKAR 5000 PANEL, namely THDv of 2,61514% and THDI of 30,8256%. Whereas after the installation of a harmonic passive filter its can be reduced THDv in the amount of 0.823228%, and THDI dropped to as much as 0.69926%.
