Abstract
Kata Kunci: VLAN,VLAN Tagging, IPv4, IPv6, Access List, Secure Shell, Port Security iii Comparative Analysis of IP Management with VLAN Tagging Using IPv4 and IPv6 on Internet Networks in the Electrical Department of ITN Malang Muhammad Yusuf Sotyohadi Aryuanto Soetedjo 1512515@scholar.itn.ac.id ABSTRACT VLAN Tagging is the development of VLANs that already have the ability to process routing between VLANs. By utilizing VLAN Tagging as IP management the author also implements other protocols such as Access List, secure shell and Port Security which serves to secure the network. The objects that are analyzed and compared to their performance are IPv4 with IPv6. This research was carried out in a simulation using the Cisco Packet Tracer application and its network scope, namely in the electrical engineering department of ITN Malang. The test parameters performed were delay, jitter, throughput, load PING speed and Speed PING with FTP load. In the testing process carried out each of the ten attempts each parameter, after that the average value is calculated then the difference is calculated. The final results obtained concluded that the performance of IP management with VLAN Tagging that implements IPv6 is better than IPv4. The description of the results is IPv4 delay and IPv6 delay with a difference of 0,00028 s to 0,00095 s, IPv4 Jitter and IPv6 Jitter with a difference of 0,00033 s to 0,00503 s, IPv4 Throughput and IPv6 Throughput with a difference of 0,0704 bps to 0.10185 bps, no-load Speed PING IPv4 and Speed PING without load IPv6 with a difference of 0,0001 s to 0,0026 s, Speed PING with FTP load IPv4 and Speed PING with IPv6 FTP load with a difference of 0,0001 s to 0, 0008 s.
