Abstract

Perancangan Antena Direksional Pada Band 2,4 GHz Untuk Modul Wifi IoT ESP8266 Zulkifli Sotyohadi, ST , MT. Ir.Kartiko Ardi Widodo. MT. c.kifli45@gmail.com ABSTRAK Penggunaan teknologi IoT ESP8266 sebagai wifi modul yang berfungis sebagai media pengiriman data melalui gelombang elektromahnetik sanggat sering digunakan pada perangkat elektronik dengan jarak atau ruang lingkup tertentu. Modul wifi IoT ESP8266 memiliki antena onboard dengan sifat omnidireksional dengan frekunsi kerja pada 2,4-2,5 GHz (2400MHz- 2483,5MHz) dan keluaran daya +20 dBm. Dalam penggunaannya menjadi permasalahan apabila ESP8266 di gunakan untuk arah-arah tertentu secara direksional karena sifat antena yang terpasang pada ESP8266 bersifat omnidireksional. Dalam makalah ini penulis ingin mengembangkan ESP8266 dari segi pemancaran direksional dengan menggunakan antena horn dan antena yagi dengan pengukuran menggunakan VNA(Vector Network Analyzer) dan spektrum analayzer dimana paremeter yang akan di ambil iyalah frekuwensi kerja, S11, VSWR, bandwidh, gain, dan polaradiasi antena yang digunakan. Dari halis pengujian antena horn dan antena yagi maka diperoleh kesimpulan dimana antena horn jauh lebih baik dengan mengacu hasil pada paremeter frekuwensi kerja 2,4 GHz, S11 -29,52 dB, VSWR 1.06, bandwidth 174MHz, gani -35,2dB. MT. c.kifli45@gmail.com ABSTRACT The use of ESP8266 IoT technology as a wifi module that functions as a medium for sending data through electromagnetic waves is often used on electronic devices with a certain distance or scope. The ESP8266 IoT wifi module has an onboard antenna with omnidirectional properties with a working frequency of 2.4-2.5 GHz (2400MHz-2483.5MHz) and a power output of +20 dBm. In its use it becomes a problem if ESP8266 is used for certain directions in a directional manner because the antenna properties installed on ESP8266 are omnidirectional. In this paper the author wants to develop ESP8266 in terms of directional transmission using horn antennas and yagi antennas with measurements using VNA (Vector Network Analyzer) and spectrum analayzer where the parameters to be taken are working frequency, S11, VSWR, bandwidh, gain, and polaradiation antenna used. From the testing of horn antennas and yagi antennas, the conclusion is that the horn antenna is much better by referring to the results of 2.4 GHz, S11 -29.52 dB working frequency, 1.06 VSWR, 174MHz bandwidth, and -35.2dB.
