Abstract

RANCANG BANGUN PROTOTYPE SISTEM REMOTE MONITORING STATUS SPACE HEATER DAN KONDISI KELEMBABAN MOTOR PRIMARY AIR FAN PADA PLTU 1 JAWA TIMUR PACITAN BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS Dhinar Ryan Viguna, Widodo Pudji Muljanto, Ni Putu Agustini dhinarryan08@gmail.com ABSTRAK Primary Air Fan merupakan penyedia udara pada boiler dengan menggunakan motor listrik 6kV sebagai penggeraknya. Motor ini pernah mengalami gagal starter dikarenakan berada dilantai dasar PLTU 1 Jawa Timur Pacitan, sehingga tidak terkena sinar matahari dan diperparah dengan banyaknya debu batu bara serta ceceran oli. Hal ini akan mempengaruhi umur dan tahanan isolasi motor yang jika dipaksakan beroperasi bisa terjadi short antar belitan hingga pembongkaran motor. Cara untuk menghilangkan kelembaban pada motor masih bersifat manual sehingga rawan terjadi human error. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dirancang suatu alat penelitian dengan judul “Rancang Bangun Prototype Sistem Remote Monitoring Status Space Heater dan Kondisi Kelembaban Motor Primary Air Fan pada PLTU 1 Jawa Timur Pacitan Berbasis Internet of Things (IoT)”. Alat ini bekerja dengan cara pembacaan sensor kelembaban yang akan mengaktifkan space heater pada indikator diatas 70%RH dan mematikan space heater pada indikator dibawah 30%RH secara otomatis untuk menjaga kondisi kelembaban motor. Selain itu, alat ini juga dilengkapi Internet of Things sehingga dapat dimonitoring melalui smartphone. Dengan alat ini kondisi kelembaban motor akan terjaga dan dapat dipantau melalui smartphone, sehingga motor dapat terhindar dari kelembaban berlebih dan gagal starter. This motorbike has experienced a failed starter because it is on the ground floor of PLTU 1 East Java Pacitan, so it is not exposed to sunlight and is compounded by the amount of coal dust and oil spills. This will affect the age and insulation resistance of the motor which if forced to operate can occur between short turns to dismantling the motor. The way to remove humidity on the motor is still manual so that it is prone to human error. Based on these problems, a research tool was designed with the title "Prototype Design of Remote Monitoring Status Space Heater System and the Primary Air Fan Motor Humidity Conditions at PLTU 1 East Java Pacitan Based on Internet of Things (IoT)". This tool works by reading the humidity sensor that will activate the space heater on the indicator above 70% RH and turn off the space heater on the indicator below 30% RH automatically to maintain the condition of the motor humidity. In addition, this tool is also equipped with the Internet of Things so that it can be monitored via a smartphone. With this tool the humidity condition of the motor will be maintained and can be monitored through a smartphone, so that the motor can avoid excessive humidity and fail the starter.
