Abstract
TIMBANGAN DIGITAL DENGAN TAMPILAN PADA SMARTPHONE UNTUK MEMBANTU PROSES MENIMBANG BERAT BADAN BALITA DI POSYANDU M. Imron Khoirus Saleh NIM: 1612208 Konsentrasi Teknik Elektronika, Jurusan Teknik Elektro S-1 Fakultas Teknologi Industri, Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang Jl. Raya Karanglo Km.2 Malang E;mail: imronsaleh10@gmail.com ABSTRAK Abstrak – Mencegah gizi buruk dan antisipasi terhadap terjadinya penyimpangan kesehatan pada anak dapat dilakukan melalui keikutsertaan anak dalam kegiatan rutin di Posyandu. Hal tersebut merupakan langkah pencegahan dini serta pemantauan terhadap tumbuh kembang anak. Salah satu kegiatan pemeriksaan dasar di posyandu untuk anak yaitu penimbangan berat badan. Proses selama penimbangan umunya masih dilakukan secara manual mulai dari menimbang, pencatatan dan penyimpanan data berat badan. Dari hal tersebut terdapat potensi kesalahan pencatatan data karena alat timbang yang selalu bergerak, proses pencatatan ulang dari buku register ke buku rekapitulasi dan ke komputer, memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama dan rentan terhadap kesalahan. Dari kurang praktisnya dalam pencatatan, penyimpanan dan potensi kesalahan data, maka dapat mengakibatkan penggambaran status gizi anak yang kurang akurat dan kurang benar atau tepat. Dalam rangka mengatasi masalah tersebut, akan dilakukan penelitian untuk merancang timbangan digital yang dapat memudahkan pekerjaan para kader posyandu dan meminimalisir kesalahan yang dapat terjadi. Timbangan digital menggunakan basis teknologi arduino uno yang dihubungkan dengan smartphone via bluetooth dengan sumber tenaga berupa listrik DC. Smartphone dan timbangan yang telah terhubung, ketika diberi beban maka data berat badan akan langsung munculpada aplikasi di smartphone. Data kemudian akan otomatis tersimpan dalam smarthphone pada aplikasi bluetooth arduino. Kata kunci – Timbangan Digital, Smartphone, Arduino UNO, Bluetooth HC-05, HX711, Kodular. Raya Karanglo Km.2 Malang E;mail: imronsaleh10@gmail.com ABSTRACT Abstract – Preventing malnutrition and anticipating health irregularities in children can be done through the children's participation on the routine activities at Posyandu. That is early health prevention as well as monitoring the children's development. One of the basic children examination activities at Posyandu is weighing. Commonly, the weighing processes were done manually starting from weighing, recording, and storing the datas. Furthermore, it could be an obstacle on data recording such as a false number of weights due to the movement of weighing scales, the process of re-recording from the register book to the recapitulation book and the computer that taking much time and prone to be errors. Because of the non-practical data on recording, storing and so data error possibilities, it can affect to the inaccurate children growth data statuses. To overcome this problem, there will be research on digital scales project that can ease the employees of Posyandu and minimize the error possibilities. Digital scale is based on Arduino Uno technology that connected to smartphones by Bluetooth connection and using DC electricity. When a smartphone and digital scale have been connected, the weight result would be recorded and saved immediately on the smartphone by using the Arduino Bluetooth application.
