Abstract
Fresh water necessity will be increase along with quantity of population add. Main requisite that should have of any source fresh water is able to give the benefit in maximal, so that have to fulfill some requisites such as quality, quantity, and continuity. This research specifically for raw water supply with observes city development aspect and the objective is to fulfill water necessity, research area did in Kediri City. Base to analysis result of fresh water quantity Kediri City until 2030 attain 183.207.313 L/day. Although, is not support by production capacity Region Corporate Drinking Water Kediri City that attain 48.796.930 L/day. If based to calculation will be occur water deficit as big as 133.410.383 L/day. To overcome this case needs new source fresh water. Kediri City has 26 sources wellspring that located in 3 sub districts. Wellsprings in Kediri City that have analyzed were Kembar, Rempi, Jiput, and Cakarwesi. Wellspring selection base to environment condition around wellspring, not at risk to pollute water in wellspring and service reach that near with the population. In aspects quality, quantity, continuity also this external source water fulfill to be new source water to compliance fresh water necessity. In spite of, Kediri City Government has to observe and consistent of city development referrals to secure water catchment area that useful as water debit for source water. So that, the existing assign land is not change function. Key words: Fresh Water Necessity, Quality, Quantity, Raw Water, and Spatial Plan and Area.
