Abstract

ABSTRACT This 2-storey shophouse is located in Pangsud Gresik, East Java. It is planned to use the Moment Resistant Frame System (SRPM) method using the Finite Element Method’s program. This shophouse uses a reinforced concrete superstructure and a steel roof structure. From the results of the main beam analysis, it was found that the installation of the main reinforcement of the main beam was less than the minimum required reinforcement. So it is necessary to add reinforcement and also thicken the beam height. From the results of the floor slab analysis, it can be seen that the floor slab elements are safe in terms of structural design. However, to ensure this, it is better to re�control the quality of the materials installed in the field. Based on reports regarding the deflection on the side of the floor slab which is large enough to be visually clear, this may be caused by several factors. So that it is possible to carry out retrofitting/rehabilitation to a good and proper condition, namely by adding sub-beams with steel WF 150x75x5x7 which are connected to the concrete main beams using 4D12 dynalbolt joints or the addition of FRP to the fiber under the floor slabs but requires more costs in its application.
