Abstract

Asetaldehida (CH3CHO) atau biasa dikenal dengan etanal merupakan cairan yang tidak berwarna dan memiliki bau yang menyengat dan menyesakkan. Asetaldehida memiliki massa molekul 44,054 dan titik didih 20,16 C pada kondisi 1 atm. Asetaldehida dapat larut dalam semua proporsi dengan air dan pelarut organik yang paling umum, misalnya aseton, benzene, etil alkohol (etanol), etil eter, toluene, xilena, dan asam asetat. Pabrik Asetaldehida akan direncanakan mengambil lokasi pendirian di Cilegon, Jawa Barat kawasan Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon (KIEC) dengan kapasitas 75.000 Ton/Tahun dan mulai beroperasi pada tahun 2027. Pabrik akan beroperasi 330 hari/tahun dan 24 jam/hari. Sistem organisasi yang digunakana adalah sistem organisasi garis dan staf. Utilitas yang digunakan meliputi air, listrik, bahan bakar, refrigerant dan steam. Dari hasil perhitungan analisa ekonomi didapatkan ROIBT = 39,691%, ROIAT = 27,784%, POT = 2,647 tahun, BEP = 43,134%, SDP = 14,479%, IRR = 24,046%
