Abstract

Dermaga dibangun untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tertentu. Pemilihan jenis dermaga tergantung pada jenis kapal yang akan dilayani (kapal penumpang atau kargo yang dapat berupa general cargo, peti kemas, kargo curah padat dan cair, kapal penangkap ikan, kapal militer) dan ukuran kapal. kondisi topografi, hidrologi dasar laut dan kondisi laut (gelombang, pasang surut, surut), digunakan untuk menahan tanah di belakang berupa dinding kuat, caissons, sheet pile, dan dinding penahan tanah. Proteksi katodik saat ini dilakukan dengan dua metode: anoda korban dan metode arus yang diterapkan
