Abstract

Electric Power System Operation concerns various broad aspects, one of which is the stability of the electricity supply from power plants to consumers. In maintaining the stability of the Electric Power System, appropriate action is needed from disturbances that can occur at any time. This study discusses the transient stability of Paiton and Grati Sub Systems from Short Circuit 3 Phase and Generator Trip disruptions. In the case of Short Circuit determined CCT (Critical Clearing Time) value obtained by 0.97 ms, and for the case of Generator Trip carried out Load Shedding action. Results obtained in the event of a Short Circuit, While for the case of Generator Trip, the transmission voltage of 70 kV increase from 78.75% to 95.77%, the transmission voltage of 150 kV increase from 81.24% to 98.53%, and the transmission voltage of 500 kV increase from 82.02% to 98.98%.
