Abstract

Burung sriti dan wallet merupakan jenis burung yang banyak diminati oleh penggemar burung. Selain itu, sarang burung sriti dan wallet juga mempunyai nilai komersial yang signifikan. Karena itu, budidaya burung sriti dan wallet menjadi sebuah potensi bisnis yang menjanjikan bagi petani, Meskipun demikian, pengepul menghadapi tantangan dalam mencari petani burung sriti di Kabupaten Blitar karena kurangnya informasi yang tersedia. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan para pengepul, penulis berusaha untuk berkontribusi dengan mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis mobile yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses pencarian petani berdasarkan jenis komoditi pertanian. Dalam proses pembuatan aplikasi ini, penulis memanfaatkan metode Location Based Service (LBS) untuk memudahkan para pengepul dalam menentukan lokasi petani yang memenuhi kriteria yang mereka inginkan.
