Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada saat ini kegiatan fotografi sudah banyak diminati oleh masyarakat bahkan menjadi hobi sebagian besar orang. Gallery photography berfungsi sebagai wadah untuk menyalurkan hobi, kreativitas dan mengasah bakat dalam hal fotografi. Sesuai dengan isu yang ada di Kota Bima saat ini yaitu banyaknya peminat dan komunitas fotografi di kota Bima namun tidak ada tempat untuk mengembangkannya sehingga perlu adanya gallery photography sebagai wadah untuk mempelajari dan mengembangkan fotografi di kota Bima. Tema yang digunakan dalam perancangan gallery photography di Kota Bima ini yaitu arsitektur kontemporer agar menjadi bangunan yang mudah diingat dan mengikuti zaman. Perancangan gallery photography di Kota Bima ini menggunakan metode glassbox. Komponen bangunan yang akan dieksplorasi yaitu bentuk bangunan sesuai dengan fungsi dan temanya yaitu gallery photography dengan tema arsitektur kontemporer. Bangunan ini dapat menjadi wadah untuk mengasah hobi dan kreativitas dalam bidang fotografi di Kota Bima. Kata kunci : Gallery Photography, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Arsitektur Kontemporer ABSTRACT Currently, photography activities are in great demand by the public and have even become a hobby for most people. Gallery photography functions as a place to channel hobbies, creativity and hone talents in photography. In accordance with the current issue in the city of Bima, namely that there are many photography enthusiasts and communities in the city of Bima but there is no place to develop it, so there is a need for a photography gallery as a place to study and develop photography in the city of Bima. The theme used in designing the photography gallery in Bima City is contemporary architecture so that it becomes a building that is easy to remember and keeps up with the times. The design of the photography gallery in Bima City uses the glassbox method. The building components that will be explored are the shape of the building according to its function and theme, namely a photography gallery with a contemporary architectural theme.
