Abstract

Construction of the Dental Medicine Building at Brawijaya University Malang with the number of floors 7 floors functioning as a medical building using reinforced concrete, located in the city of Malang with a seismic design category D. The layout of special structural walls in the dual system of the dental medicine building will affect the displacements and internal forces that occur, the displacement results of the internal force modeling, and the planning and reinforcement of beams, columns, beam-column connections, and structural walls. Specifically, in the modeling used, the planning method employs a dual system (momentresisting frame system and special structural walls) with the ETABS (Ultimate 18.1.1.) software. The analysis results in the second model where the special structural walls are placed on all four outer sides and four inner parts of the floor plan, with the building having the largest displacement in the X direction of 75.00 mm and the largest displacement in the Y direction of 75.00 mm. The reinforcement for Beam B1, 400 mm x 800 mm, includes 6 D19 top reinforcement (Tension) and 4 D19 bottom reinforcement (Compression), with stirrups in the plastic hinge region of 2Ø 13-100 and outside the plastic hinge region of 2Ø 13-150. Column K1 800 mm x 800 mm uses reinforcement 28 D24 with stirrups in the plastic hinge region 6 D13-120 and outside the plastic hinge 4 D13-150. The connection of the beamcolumn with vertical restraints is sufficient by using the longitudinal column reinforcement, and the horizontal reinforcement is 5D 13 in 7 layers. Special structure walls 400 mm x 7200 mm with boundary components 2400 mm from the outermost compression fiber, transverse reinforcement 6 feet D13-100 mm. longitudinal wall reinforcement of 122 D25, with transverse reinforcement in the X direction at the plastic hinge area 6D13-100 mm, outside the plastic hinge area 4D13-150 mm, and at the lap splice area 6D13-150 mm.
