Pra Rencana Pabrik Dimetil Eter dari Metanol dengan Proses Dehidrasi Metanol ini mengambil lokasi pendirian di Bontang, Kalimantan Timur dengan kriteria sebagai berikut: - Kapasitas produksi : 50.000 ton/tahun - Waktu operasi : 330 hari - Bahan utama : Metanol - Utilitas : Air, steam, listrik dan bahan bakar - Organisasi Perusahaan ✓ Bentuk : Perseroan Terbatas ✓ Struktur : Garis dan staff ✓ Karyawan : 200 orang - Analisaekonomi ✓ TCI : Rp. 1.159.181.898.871,- ✓ ROIAT : 21,16 % ✓ POT : 2,5 tahun ✓ BEP : 44,56% ✓ IRR : 24,12% Dari hasil evaluasi ekonomi, Pra Rencana Pabrik Dimetil Eter dari Metanol dengan Proses Dehidrasi Metanol ini layak untuk didirikan.
