Abstract

Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) atau Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) Kota Batu merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di Bidang Jasa penyalur air bersih untuk dipergunakan masyarakat kota Batu dan sekitarnya. Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kota Batu memiliki gudang tempat penyimpanan inventory guna memenuhi kebutuhan dalam perbaikan kebocoran pipa atau pemasangan meteran baru. Kondisi Gudang yang saat ini dihadapi oleh PDAM Kota Batu yaitu tata penyimpanan sebagian inventory di gudang ini tersimpan tidak sesuai dengan idealnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Share Storage ( pengaturan tata letak gudang dan penempatan beberapa jenis bahan atau material dalam suatu area ), Penelitian ini dimulai dari survey awal untuk mendapatkan data – data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian selanjutnya pengolahan data yang dimulai dari usulan layout, usulan rak inventory, usulan pelabelan inventory, tata kelola inventory, dan usulan material handling yaitu jenis manual lift table. Hasil pengolahan data dengan menggunakan metode Share Storage dapat digunakan untuk peningkatan tata kelola inventory gudang. Dari hasil pengolahan data didapatkan layout baru yang lebih luas, ringkas, rapih serta mendapatkan tempat untuk penempatan inventory slow respon, rancangan rak inventory yang baru untuk penyimpanan inventory slow respon serta bentuk yang lebih memudahkan dalam pengambilan inventory, pelabelan untuk sistem inventory baru dengan menambahkan identitas yang detail, tata kelola inventory yang lebih mudah dalam administrasi inventory masuk dan keluar, dan usulan material handling yang mampu memudahkan karyawan dalam memindahkan inventory berjumlah besar dan berat.
