Abstract

Otomatisasi Suhu, PH, dan Kelembapan pada Proses Dekomposisi Pembuatan Pupuk Kompos Berbasis Arduino Moch Ricky Ramadhan M. Ibrahim Ashari F. Yudi Limpraptono rickyxramadhan@gmail.com ABSTRAK Pengolahan sampah organik menggunakan proses pengomposan sering kali menemui kendala. Kurun waktu yang diperlukan untuk mengolah sampah organik membutuhkan waktu yang lama, kurang lebih satu bulan. Jika kebutuhan pupuk semakin meningkat, maka pengolahan sampah organik menggunakan pengomposan menjadi kurang efisien. Dari kendala di atas, muncul ide untuk merancang alat pengolahan sampah organik yaitu otomatisasi suhu, ph, dan kelembapan pada proses dekomposisi pembuatan pupuk kompos berbasis arduino. Untuk mengetahui suhu, pH, dan kelembapan yang ideal, alat ini terdapat sensor suhu DHT11, sensor pH, dan soil mosture agar proses pengolahan pupuk dapat sesuai dengan parameter yang dibutuhkan. Dari pengujian alat yang telah dilakukan, hasil dari sensor DHT11 mendapatkan rata-rata error pembacaan sensor sebesar 3,14%. Sensor soil mosture diketahui bahwa semakin basah keadaan suatu tanah maka nilai tegangan analog output yang dihasilkan semakin tinggi, keadaan sensor kering (0%) maka nilai tegangan analog output 0V, keadaan sensor lembab (25%) maka nilai tegangan analog output 1,25V, keadaan sensor basah (60%) maka nilai tegangan analog output 2,48V. Sensor pH tanah mendapatkan rata-rata error pembacaan sensor sebesar 5,004%. Waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pembuatan pupuk kompos menggunakan alat ini adalah 14 hari. Yudi Limpraptono rickyxramadhan@gmail.com ABSTRACT Processing of organic waste using the composting process often encounters obstacles. The time period needed to process organic waste takes a long time, approximately one month. If fertilizer needs are increasing, then processing organic waste using composting becomes less efficient. From the constraints above , the idea arose to design an organic waste processing device, namely the automation of temperature, pH, and humidity in the decomposition process of making compost arduino based. To find out the ideal temperature, pH and humidity, this tool has a DHT11 temperature sensor, a pH sensor, and a soil moisture sensor so that the fertilizer processing can be in accordance with the required parameters. From the testing of the tools that have been done, the results of the DHT11 sensor get an average sensor reading error of 3.14%. Soil mosture sensors are known that the wetter the state of the soil the higher the analog voltage output, the dry sensor condition (0%), the analog voltage output value 0V, the humidity sensor condition (25%), the analog voltage output value of 1.25V, the state of the wet sensor (60%), the analog voltage output is 2.48V. Soil pH sensor gets an average sensor reading error of 5.004%. The time needed in the process of making compost using this tool is 14 days.
