ABSTRAK Yeris Tabuni, 2024. Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kerusakan Ban Prematur Pada Unit Loader Terhadap Produktivitas Tambang Bawah Tanah (Studi Kasus : PT Freeport Indonesia, Papua). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap kerusakan ban prematur dan menganalisis dampaknya terhadap pengeluaran PT Freeport Indonesia. PT. Freeport Indonesia, sebagai perusahaan tambang bawah tanah terbesar di Indonesia, menghadapi tantangan signifikan terkait kerusakan ban prematur pada unit produksi. . Berdasarkan data kerusakan ban pada 114 unit yang beroperasi di area DMLZ dan GBC, tercatat masing-masing terdiri dari 23 unit Truk AD60, 47 unit Loader LHD R1600, dan 44 unit Loader LHD R1700. Sepanjang periode Januari hingga Desember 2023, terjadi sebanyak 2.463 kasus kerusakan ban pada unit produksi tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi melalui perangkat lunak SPSS untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor kerusakan terhadap pengeluaran perusahaan kemudian strategi usulan perbaikan dengan branstorming dan FGD di 8 departemen terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh (census sampling) karena jumlah populasi data masih terbatas dan dapat dianalisis secara menyeluruh. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh data Tread Utilization Rate (TUR) ban merek Bridgestone yang mengalami kerusakan prematur di PT Freeport Indonesia, dengan jumlah 453 data yang tercatat selama periode 12 bulan pada tahun 2023. Data diperoleh dari SAP PT Freeport Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kerusakan ban prematur pada unit loader di tambang bawah tanah PT Freeport Indonesia disebabkan oleh Puncture Steel, Rock Cut, dan Running Flat, dengan hasil uji t menunjukkan ketiganya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengeluaran perusahaan. Kerusakan dominan Rock Cut (X2) diatasi melalui strategi 5M+E: aspek man dengan pelatihan operator, penerapan SOP kecepatan, serta sistem reward–punishment; machine dengan perawatan suspensi, pengendalian beban, dan pemasangan TPMS; material dengan penggunaan ban sesuai spesifikasi, proteksi sidewall, serta evaluasi supplier; method melalui inspeksi harian, grading jalan terjadwal, dan sosialisasi SOP; serta environment dengan perbaikan jalan, peningkatan drainase, pembersihan batu loose, dan monitoring pascahujan. This study aims to identify factors contributing to premature tire damage and analyze its impact on PT Freeport Indonesia's expenses. PT Freeport Indonesia, as the largest underground mining company in Indonesia, faces significant challenges related to premature tire damage in its production units. Based on tire damage data from 114 units operating in the DMLZ and GBC areas, there were 23 AD60 trucks, 47 LHD R1600 loaders, and 44 LHD R1700 loaders. From January to December 2023, there were 2,463 cases of tire damage in these production units. The research method used was quantitative analysis with regression analysis using SPSS software to determine the effect of damage factors on company expenses, followed by proposed improvement strategies through brainstorming and FGDs in 8 related departments. This study used a census sampling technique because the population data was still limited and could be analyzed comprehensively. The population in this study was all Bridgestone tire Tread Utilization Rate (TUR) data that experienced premature damage at PT Freeport Indonesia, with a total of 453 data points recorded during a 12-month period in 2023. The data was obtained from SAP PT Freeport Indonesia. The results of the study show that premature tire damage in loader units in the underground mine of PT Freeport Indonesia is caused by Puncture Steel, Rock Cut, and Running Flat, with the t-test results showing that all three have a significant effect on company expenses. The dominant Rock Cut (X2) damage was overcome through the 5M+E strategy: the man aspect with operator training, implementation of speed SOPs, and a reward-punishment system; the machine aspect with suspension maintenance, load control, and TPMS installation; material through the use of tires according to specifications, sidewall protection, and supplier evaluation; method through daily inspections, scheduled road grading, and SOP socialization; and environment through road repairs, improved drainage, loose rock cleaning, and post-rain monitoring.
