Abstract

Implementasi Kapasitor Bank Untuk Memperbaiki Profil Tegangan dan Meningkatkan Faktor Daya di PT. Kutai Timber Indonesia Probolinggo Satria Abimanyu Dr. Irrine Budi Sulistiawati ST,MT s.abimanyu666@gmail.com 2 ABSTRAK Kualitas daya dalam sistem tenaga merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan harus diperhatikan untuk menjaga stabilitas dan continuitas sistem tenaga listrik dalam suatu industri. Diantara permasalahan kualitas daya yang timbul salah satunya adalah penurunan nilai power faktor yang menyebabkan konsumsi daya menjadi berlebih. Seperti pada industri-industri besar pada umumnya. Perusahaan pengelolaan kayu PT. Kutai Timber Indonesia Probolinggo juga memiliki permasalahan kualitas daya pada sistem kelistrikannya, disebabkan karena mempunyai banyak motor-motor berkapasitas besar untuk proses produksinya. Untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut perlu dilakukan pengontrolan daya reaktif salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan pemasangan kapasitor yang optimal untuk memperbaiki profil tegangan dan meningkatkan faktor daya sehingga dapat memaksimalkan kapasitas penyaluran daya sistem. Penelitian ini akan menerapkan Optimal Capacitor Placement (OCP) yang merupakan salah satu tool dalam software ETAP Power Station untuk menentukan penempatan dan kapasitas optimal kapasitor pada sistem dengan menerapkan metode Genetic Algorithm (GA). Maka pengujian di lakukan pada sistem kelistrikan PT. Kutai Timber Indonesia Probolinggo dengan total bus 76. Dari hasil analisis didapat bus untuk penempatan dan kapasitas kapasitor optimal yaitu pada bus 72 dengan total kapasitas sebesar 1700 kVar dan dapat meningkatkan profil tegangan serta mereduksi rugi-rugi daya dari 67,6 kW dan 258,9 kVar menjadi 57,2 kW dan 226,4 kVar. Among the power quality problems that arise one of which is a decrease in the value of power factors that cause excessive power consumption. As in large industries in general. Timber management company PT. Kutai Timber Indonesia Probolinggo also has power quality problems in its electrical system, due to having many large capacity motors for its production process. To anticipate this, reactive power control needs to be done, one of which can be done by installing an optimal capacitor to improve the voltage profile and increase the power factor so as to maximize the system's power distribution capacity. The function of the capacitor is to reactive power supply so that the capacitor can improve the power factor and voltage drop so as to minimize power loss in the system. This study will apply the Optimal Capacitor Placement (OCP) which is one of the tools in the ETAP Power Station software to determine the optimal placement and capacity of capacitors in the system by applying the Genetic Algorithm (GA) method. Then the testing was carried out on the electrical system of PT. Kutai Timber Indonesia Probolinggo with a total of 76 buses. From the analysis results obtained bus for optimal placement and capacitor capacity, namely on bus 72 with a total capacity of 1700 kVar and can increase the voltage profile and reduce power losses of 67.6 kW and 258.9 kVar to 57.2 kW and 226.4 kVar.
