Abstract

Kartiko Ardi Widodo, MT Sotyohadi, ST., MT Peminatan Teknik Telekomunikasi Program Studi Teknik Elektro S-1 Fakultas Teknologi Industri, Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang Jl. Raya Karanglo Km. 2 Malang Antena merupakan perangkat yang memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam sistem komunikasi tanpa kabel (wireless). Secara umum fungsi antena adalah sebagai pengubah gelombang yang dilewatkan pada saluran transmisi menjadi gelombang ruang bebas dan sebaliknya. Penelitian ini fokus pada pembuatan antena sebagai penguat sinyal modem dengan menggunakan sistem induksi pada antena Yagi 14 Elemen. Proses pembuatan antena dibantu dengan software Yagi calculator. Perhitungan Yagi Calculator bertujuan untuk membantu penentuan elemen antena yaitu bagian driven dari model, ukuran sampai bahan yang digunakan dan bagian reflektor. Dari hasil pengujian antena Yagi setelah dibuat dapat disimpulkan antena Yagi dapat digunakan pada modem dengan bantuan software Yagi calculator. Diharapkan adanya pengembangan software dan metode pembuatan antena untuk menghasilkan parameter antena yang lebih akurat. Kartiko Ardi Widodo, MT Sotyohadi, ST., MT Specialization in Telecommunication Undergraduate level for Departement of Electrical Engineering Faculty of Industrial Technology, National Institute of Technology Malang Karanglo Street 2nd km, Malang Antenna is a important device for wireless communication system as waves modifier through the transmission line into electromagnetic wave and vice versa. This study focused on the manufacture of the antenna to strenghten modem signal using induction system at four teen element Yagi antenna. The manufacturing process is assisted by Yagi antenna calculator. This tool help the process of determining the elements used for each parts of the antenna such as the model of driven element, the zise for those part even the materials used for and the reflector of antenna. The test result showed that those antenna were made can be used properly on the modemassited by Yagi calculator tool. In the end of this project, it can be expected that there more advanced development for the software and methods of antenna manufacture to bring out maximum accuracy of antenna which is built on the next project.
