Abstract

STUDI KESTABILAN FREKWENSI PENGOPERASIAN DUA UNIT GENSET PADA INSTALASI KELISTRIKAN KAPAL MENTARI EXPRESS MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE ETAP Achmad Faris Rachmatilah, Widodo Pudji Muljanto, Ni Putu Agustini farisrachmad95@gmail.com ABSTRAK Kontinuitas suplai energi listrik pada sektor industri merupakan salah satu kebutuhan yang sangat vital, khususnya pada beberapa jenis Industri seperti; Industri Pabrik, Industri Pemerintahan Dan Industri Perkapalan, dan lain-lain. Kegagalan dalam proses suplai energi dapat menyebabkan terganggunya proses produksi bahkan dapat menyebabkan kerugian yang signifikan karena gagal produksi, misalkan pada industri baja. Kegagalan atau Masalah dalam suplai energi listrik bisa disebabkan oleh terganggunya saluran distribusi atau saluran transmisi, rusaknya trafo penyulang atau trafo distribusi, atau karena terganggunya peralatan-peralatan pada Gardu Induk. Untuk meminimalisir waktu jeda beberapa pabrik menyiapkan satu atau lebih unit Genset dan adakalanya sumber energi listrik hanya berasal dari beberapa generator sesuai kapasitas pabrik atau industri. Apabila suatu pabrik memiliki dua atau lebih Genset yang harus beroperasi secara paralel akan muncul permasalahan kestabilan frekwensi terutama pada saat-saat perubahan beban. Untuk itu diperlukan strategi yang tepat dalam merencanakan sistem pengoperasian pembangkit cadangan seperti ini. Pada Skripsi ini akan dibahasa tentang studi awal yang akan digunakan sebagai bahan penyusunan perencanaan sistem operasi dua unit Diesel generator-set pada Kapal Mentari Express di pelabuhan Tanjung Perak Surabaya. Kata kunci – Generator,Frekwensi, Governor, Software ETAP Frequency Stability Study Of The Operation Of Two Units Of Genset In The Electrical Installation Of The Mentari Express Vessel Using Etap Software Achmad Faris Rachmatilah, Widodo Pudji Muljanto, Ni Putu Agustini farisrachmad95@gmail.com ABSTRACT The continuity of electrical energy supply in the industrial sector is one of the most vital needs, especially in several types of industry such as; Factory Industry, Government Industry and Shipping Industry, and others. Failure in the energy supply process can disrupt the production process and even cause significant losses due to production failure, for example in the steel industry. Failure or problems in the supply of electrical energy can be caused by disruption of distribution lines or transmission lines, damage to the feed or distribution transformers, or due to disruption of equipment at the substation. To minimize the lag time, some factories prepare one or more generator units and sometimes the source of electrical energy only comes from several generators according to the factory or industrial capacity. If a factory has two or more generators that must operate in parallel, the frequency stability problems will arise, especially during times of load changes. For that we need the right strategy in planning a backup generator operating system like this. In this thesis, we will discuss the initial study that will be used as material for the preparation of an operating system planning for two units of Diesel generator-set on the Mentari Express Ship at Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya.
