Abstract
PERANCANGAN DAN ANALISIS KUALITAS JARINGAN RADIO PANCAR ULANG BERBASIS RoIP DI KAMPUS ITN MALANG Muhamad Aqil Dzaki, NIM : 1512702 Dosen Pembimbing I : Ir. Kartiko Ardi Widodo, MT Dosen Pembimbing II : Sotyohadi, ST.,MT aqildzaki12@gmail.com ABSTRAK Kampus ITN MALANG mempunyai Repeater yang digunakan oleh satuan keamanan yang berada di Kampus 1 dan Kampus 2 dengan cakupan jarak yang jauh dan digunakan untuk bertukar informasi melalui handy-talkie. Repeater ini mulai terkendala dengan adanya bangunan Gedung yang tinggi dan semakin banyaknya pengguna radio amatir dengan frekuensi yang sama. Dengan adanya RoIP (Radio over IP) yang memudahkan bertukarnya informasi untuk satuan keamanan dari Kampus 1 dan Kampus 2 ITN MALANG. RoIP adalah sebuah teknologi dari system radio yang menggunakan standar VoIP untuk bekerja melalui perangkat lunak maupun perangkat keras yaitu dengan merubah sinyal analog dari transmisi radio tersebut menjadi sinyal digital melalui LAN. VoX adalah istilah dari Voice Operated Transmit, yaitu pancaran yang ditimbulkan oleh adanya audio (suara) Ketika kita berbicara melalui Microphone maka akan otomatis men”Trigger” relay transmit untuk memancarkan Penelitian ini menggunakan metode action research dengan melakukan diagnosa (diagnosing), membuat rencana tindakan(action planning), melakukan tindakan(action taking), melakukan evaluasi (evaluation),dan pembelajaran(learning). Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan selama 2 minggu, Pada parameter QoS (Quality of Services) yaitu bandwidth, rata-rata belum mencapai alokasi bandwidth yang diberikan yaitu 5 Mbps untuk setiap user. Pada parameter QoS yaitu delay yang menurut versi TIPHON, bahwa delay pada Gedung Jurusan Teknik Mesin dan Gedung Jurusan Pariwisata termasuk dalam kategori CUKUP, dan SANGAT BAGUS karena nilai delay masih diatas 150 ms dan dibawah 150 ms. Pada parameter QoS yaitu packet loss yang menurut versi TIPHON, bahwa packet loss pada Gedung Jurusan Teknik Mesin dan Gedung Jurusan Pariwisata termasuk dalam kategori BAGUS, SEDANG dan JELEK karena nilai packet loss di atas 25%. v Kata Kunci : Action Research, Wireless LAN , Quality Of Service, Bandwidth, Delay, Packet Loss, TIPHON ANALYSIS QUALITY OF SERVICE (QOS) WIRELESS LAN NETWORK IN POLYTECHNICS STATE KUPANG Julius Kristiandi Inriwan Faot, NIM : 1612702 Supervisor I : Ir. Kartiko Ardi Widodo, MT Supervisor II : Sotyohadi, ST.,MT aqildzaki12@gmail.com ABSTRACT The ITN MALANG campus has a repeater that is used by security units located on Campus 1 and Campus 2 with long distance coverage and is used to exchange information via handy-talkies. This repeater began to be hampered by the presence of tall buildings and the increasing number of amateur radio users with the same frequency. With the existence of RoIP (Radio over IP) which facilitates the exchange of information for security units from Campus 1 and Campus 2 ITN MALANG. RoIP is a technology from a radio system that uses VoIP standards to work through software and hardware, namely by converting analog signals from radio transmissions into digital signals via LAN. VoX is a term for Voice Operated Transmit, which is the emission caused by the presence of audio (voice). When we talk through the microphone, it will automatically trigger the relay transmit to transmit This study uses the action research method by making a diagnosis (diagnosing), making an action plan (action planning), taking action (action taking), evaluating (evaluation), and learning (learning). From the results of the analysis that has been carried out for 2 weeks, on the QoS (Quality of Services) parameter, namely bandwidth, the average has not reached the given bandwidth allocation of 5 Mbps for each user. In the QoS parameter, namely delay, according to the TIPHON version, the delay in the Mechanical Engineering Department Building and the Tourism Department Building is in the ENOUGH category, and VERY GOOD because the delay value is still above 150 ms and below 150 ms. In the QoS parameter, namely packet loss, according to the TIPHON version, packet loss in the Mechanical Engineering Department Building and the Tourism Department Building are in the GOOD, MEDIUM and BAD categories because the packet loss value is above 25%. vi Keywords: Action Research, Wireless LAN, Quality Of Service, Bandwidth, Delay, Packet Loss, TIPHON
