Abstract

Hotel Sunset Dirancang bagi para wisatawan luar atau dalam negeri yang berlibur di Bali, di Jembrana sendiri tepatnya di Desa Yeh Sumbul Kecamatan Mendoyo keberadaan hotel mencangkup area persawahan aktif yang tidak sesuai dengan batas-batas peraturan daerah. Perancangan hotel mengambil tema arsitektur tropis yaitu dimana suatu konsep bangunan mampu beradaptasi dengan iklim tropis. Adapun teori yang digunakan dari Tri Harso Karyo “sebuah konsep konstruksi yang mengacu pada kondisi iklim di mana selama desain bangunan mengarah untuk memecahkan masalah yang disebabkan oleh iklim tropis seperti panas matahari, suhu tinggi, hujan dan kelembaban tinggi. Metode perancangan diawali oleh studi fungsi bangunan sejenis, studi tema sejenis, studi data, analisa dan konsep rancangan. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan arsitektur tropis diharapakan mampu menjadi suatu bangunan yang bisa beradaptasi dengan alam iklim tropis yang ada di Indonesia. Diharapkan fasilitas hotel nantinya mampu menjadi tempat istirahat untuk para wisatawan yang berlibur di Bali.
