Abstract

Kabupaten Trenggalek merupakan salah satu wilayah di Jawa Timur. Dikenal dengan keseniannya, eksistensi karya seni lukis juga menjadi ciri khas wilayah ini. Munculnya komunitas-komunitas penggiat seni mendorong akan kebutuhan fasilitas penunjang kegiatan berkarya seni yang memadai. Dengan adanya fasilitas painting art space, para penggiat seni dapat berkegiatan secara terpusat dan memperkenalkan seni lukis itu sendiri pada khalayak ramai. Melalui penerapan arsitektur kontemporer, desain yang dibuat dioptimalkan dengan pemaksimalan pemanfaatan potensi yang ada di tapak. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah force based. Fasilitas painting art space ini mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan dan potensi tapak yang ada. Melalui pendekatan dan metode tersebut, diperoleh pemaksimalan potensi dengan pengaturan sirkulasi dan penyesuaian material dengan kondisi iklim di Kabupaten Trenggalek itu sendiri sehingga tetap mengedepankan prinsip berkelanjutan yang ramah lingkungan dan mendukung kegiatan sosial sesuai dengan sosial budaya masyarakat daerah setempat.
